Made and restored in Wales - Nick Over

Nick Over in his workshop Nick Over is a furniture maker and antique restorer and lives in a beautiful part of mid Wales (Welshpool, Powys).

Nick repairs fine antiques and makes kitchens and kitchen cabinets, and period furniture in a workshop attached to his seventeenth century farmhouse. With sweeping views of hills and valleys, his home is an appropriate setting for his philosophy which lives and breathes in his work.

He believes in using traditional tools and construction methods that have been handed down through generations of craftsmen. Nick loves wood and understands its strength and versatility.

At his house, " Allt y Ceiliog " or " Hillside of the Cockerel ", he stores a vast variety of quality woods, both old and new, so that the best possible materials are always available.

His furniture does more than just fulfil a function, it is a continuation of Montgomeryshire's rich artisan heritage.
